Shipping Policy
Orders placed before 11:00 AM Pacific Time, Monday – Saturday are processed and shipped the same day. Orders submitted after the cutoff time, or on Sundays and holidays, will ship the next business day.
All shipments are sent via USPS Priority Mail flat-rate boxes or UPS. Shipping is charged at a flat rate of $15.20 per order.
Signature Required: To protect your order, shipments over $250 include signature confirmation. You’re welcome to waive this at checkout—just leave a note in the “Order Notes” section. If waived, responsibility for the package passes to the recipient when the carrier marks it delivered.
Returns & Refunds Policy
Due to the nature of chemical reagents, all sales are final and returns are not accepted. Our products undergo comprehensive purity testing, with results available for review before purchase.
We stand behind the quality of every product we sell. If you have concerns about a specific order, please contact us and we will address the matter on a case-by-case basis.

Missing or Damaged Items
If your order arrives with missing items, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. We will investigate and resolve the issue promptly.
For items damaged during transit, the shipping carrier handles all claims as shipments are insured. If an incorrect address was entered during checkout, the customer is responsible for any re-shipping costs.
Shipping & Order Emails
Once your order is processed for shipping, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the subject “Your order is on its way!” sent from ship@pirateship.com. Additional order updates will come from order@researchroi.com.
These emails are strictly transactional—meaning they’re only sent to provide important information about your order like confirmation, tracking, and delivery updates.
To ensure you receive these time-sensitive updates:
- Add both email addresses to your contacts or safe sender list
- Check your spam/junk or promotions folders before reaching out about your order, as these emails can occasionally be filtered
- Avoid using inboxes or filters that may block automated emails
